WHY I DO THIS
I’ve always had a natural appreciation for beauty, but it wasn’t until I married a professional photographer that I really started to understand the technical side of things.
It’s been such a rewarding journey (established in 2006 :)), blending my passion for beauty with a deeper knowledge of how photography works.
I enjoyed every moment of it
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing stunning cities, landscapes and national parks in over 50 countries.
Lately, I’ve focused on family, maternity, vacation shoots, weddings, and elopements.
Unlike some elopement photographers, I don’t look down on weddings or family sessions.
I truly believe everyone should have the freedom to experience and celebrate life’s special moments in the way that feels right for them.
What I love most about sessions like engagement, family, and maternity shoots is the opportunity to connect with the couple and see what makes them happy.
Bringing those real, joyful moments to life in photos makes everything feel authentic and meaningful.
Helping couples plan a day that feels true to them is what I love.
The one thing that always bothered me about big weddings was that I never really got to know the couple.
I’d observe how they manage stress, but that’s not the main focus of the big day. That’s why I really appreciate smaller ceremonies.
For me, elopements are about capturing raw, unscripted moments.
And we can do it in beautiful locations—whether it’s a quiet beach at sunrise or a dramatic mountaintop.
What really moves me is how genuine couples are when they plan their perfect day to say their vows.

Plus, I eloped too
Five years ago on New Year’s Eve, we worked with a local indigenous
guiding company to a sacred Incan Temple Fortress deep in the heart of
the Andes Mountains—not that far from Machhu Piccu.
They packed up our gear on horses and set up the most amazing
“glamping” set up with extraordinary food.
At sunrise on New Year’s day, after an emotional “first look” we read our
vows privately to each other and I sobbed my eyes out the entire time.
It was everything I ever wanted my wedding day to be—just me and my
partner (both huge introverts), just safe to be 100% ourselves without a
worry or care in the world.
I loved every minute of it.
I’ve been in your shoes, so when I say I understand, I mean it.
I’m an ordained officiant
with the ULC Monastery meaning I can sign your marriage license in most U.S. states so you can keep your elopement as intimate as possible.
Carbon Neutral Travel & Business
The environment matters to me. I source eco-friendly albums, prints, and have a carbon neutral travel program that offsets all of our travel-related emissions (and yours!)
